Medium Charcoal pencil, color pencil on toned paper
Description For this self portrait, I wanted to try a different technique where the portrait is made from individual lines using charcoal pencils. I added in some color with color pencil in certain areas to give the portrait a little more life. Some parts of the portrait that had extreme lights and darks were drawn by adding layers and layers of line to show the strength of the shadows and lights.
